B2B - Customer Support Advisor
Slough | Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
£35,000 – £40,000 + bonus
We’re looking for a Customer Support Advisor to join an established and busy B2B operation in Slough. You’ll be responsible for supporting a portfolio of customers, coordinating with internal teams and ensuring queries, orders and service issues are dealt with promptly and professionally.
Are you an experienced customer support professional who enjoys solving problems, building strong relationships and making sure customers receive an excellent service?
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment, takes ownership of issues and is confident communicating with both customers and colleagues.

Working Pattern:
The role is based in Slough, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring 3 days per week onsite. Monday to Friday hours will fall between 8am and 5pm. There is also a requirement to work some weekend days, non-consecutively.

What You'll Be Doing
You’ll act as a key contact for customers, helping to make sure their requirements are managed effectively from initial order through to successful delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting customers with enquiries, complaints and service-related issues
- Investigating problems and coordinating solutions across the business
- Managing customer orders and ensuring they are processed accurately and within agreed timescales
- Keeping customers updated on the progress of orders and any potential issues
- Proactively communicating stock shortages, delays and revised availability
- Managing returns, shortages and other customer queries
- Working closely with planning and logistics teams to ensure deliveries run smoothly
- Liaising with third-party logistics providers when required
- Supporting stock allocation and availability queries
- Maintaining accurate customer information and records
- Providing regular service updates and performance information
- Building effective working relationships with Account Management, Planning, Logistics and other operational teams
- Supporting service enquiries through to engineer resolution where necessary
- Joining customer review meetings when required
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and the overall customer experience
About You:
You’ll ideally have experience within a B2B customer service, customer support, order management or customer operations environment.
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience managing customer orders or enquiries
- An understanding of order processing and fulfilment
- Experience dealing with delivery, logistics or stock-related queries
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Confidence working with different departments and stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system would be advantageous
