Sales Support Ticketing Executive - Travel Industry
Hybrid - 3 days in the Holborn office

On behalf of a market leading tour operator, we are supporting the recruitment of a Sales Support Executive/Ticketer to join a highly dynamic, growing, and successful operation on a hybrid basis. Previous experience within a travel operations support team is crucial, along with sufficient use and understanding of Galileo GDS system.
Are you a passionate and positive Sales Support Executive with extensive knowledge of the travel industry?
Are you familiar with Galileo GDS and international fare and airline rules?
This is a hybrid working opportunity (3 days onsite at their Holborn office) with shift patterns falling between 9am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work every third Saturday between 10am - 4pm (given back in lieu).

The successful Sales Support Ticketing Executive will:
- Book and ticket both international and domestic flights using Galileo GDS system.
- Effectively manage schedule changes, cancellations, re-issues and refunds within deadlines whilst ensuring minimal penalties to the business.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of fare rules, airline policies and company terms.
- Book ground elements on request via various platforms (including hotels, cruise, rail, ferries, car hire, motorhome, excursions and transfers).
- Handle general enquiries from both internal teams and external customers.
- Demonstrate a customer-centric approach and proactive communication via phone and email.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a consistent and streamlined service.
- Stay updated on airline and supplier policy changes, industry regulations, and travel technology tools.
Expertise, Skills, and Experience:
- Previous experience within travel operations and customer support.
- Proficient Galileo GDS system experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of international fare and airline rules.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with external contacts.
- Ability to confidently support customers and/or other areas of the business in emergency or crisis situations.
- Canada and North America destination knowledge would be a strong advantage.
- Additional knowledge of cruise, rail and ground products would be a strong advantage.
