CCP are delighted to be supporting a premium homeware brand with the appointment of a detail oriented Order Co-ordinator to join their Exeter based team ASAP. Using your analytical mindset, you will be expected to accelerate the fulfilment of confirmed orders across both B2B and B2C channels.
 
Working closely with various departments, you'll play a vital role in keeping orders flowing and customers receiving the highest level of service. Combining quality craftsmanship with an exemplary customer experience, this brand-new Order Co-ordinator role is a fantastic opportunity to support this ever growing brand.
 
As an Order Co-ordinator, you will work onsite Monday to Friday (9am - 5:30pm). There is ample parking on site and the office is easily accessible on public transport.
 
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Manage the end-to-end order journey across multiple channels, including retail, distribution and e-commerce. Ensuring completeness, awareness of availability and delivery.
  • Maintain order data quality, including accuracy, inventory and delivery data in ERP/CRM systems.
  • Monitor and prioritise open orders, based on urgency and customer needs.
  • Reduce delays and backlogs by aligning supply with demand by working with teams in Production, Purchasing and Logistics.
  • Provide proactive and accurate updates to the Sales and Customer Service teams, including order status, potential issues, and timeframes for resolution.
  • Produce reports and communicate clearly on fulfilment performance, backorders and stock risks.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for process improvements, including efficiency, accuracy and reliability. Offering insights and recommendations to improve service and inventory use.
  • Act as a central contact Customer Services, Sales, Supply Chain, ICT and Finance. Maintaining proactive communication to ensure positive experiences for staff and customers.
 
Core Competencies:
  • Experience in order management, customer service and supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C order flows.
  • Ability to analyse inventory and order data to make rational decisions and prioritise tasks.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • ERP/inventory management system knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communicational skills with cross-departmental collaboration skills.
  • Exhibit a proactive and problem solving approach.
