About The Job

Full time – Monday to Friday (onsite during probation, hybrid thereafter)
9am – 5:15pm – no evenings, weekends or Bank Holidays.
Salary: £24,500

CCP are delighted to be supporting a growing car finance company with the appointment of a confident and ambitious Contact Centre Agent to join their team ASAP. The role is based on the outskirts of Cardiff with ample parking and good public transport links available. The working hours are 9am - 5:15pm, Monday to Friday. During probation the role is based on site, moving onto a hybrid arrangement thereafter (preferably Monday to Wednesday in the office).
 
The successful Contact Centre Agent will deal with a wide range of enquiries related to car finance arrangements. You will be required to develop a large product knowledge base and by understanding various processes and procedures, be able to make sound decisions to handle each call on an individual basis. Please note, finance and DBS checks will be completed for any successful candidates.
 
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Manage incoming communication and resolve in line with company policy and service levels where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate knowledge of products, procedures, policy, legislation, and technology.
  • Ensure a high-quality service level is maintained through all communication with customers, Retailers, and other departments.
  • Accurately recorded all customer related data.
  • Show a positive attitude to all team members by being loyal and fully committed to team objectives.
  • Take on all other tasks and responsibilities as requested.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work in all areas of the department, covering seasonal peaks in volume of work and as workload dictates.
 
Core Competencies:
 
  • Experience in a similar Customer Services environment is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and communicate with all levels of colleagues and customers is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via various channels to achieve clarity amongst colleagues and customers.
  • High level of listening skills and the ability to determine relevant information.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Good English and Maths results at GCSE, 'A' Levels or equivalent is desirable.
