CCP are partnering with a leading, well-established financial services brand based in Manchester City Centre to appoint a Senior Sales Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role for a highly experienced operator who has led large-scale sales functions (circa 50+ FTE) and has a proven track record of managing managers, not just frontline teams.
Job Title: Senior Sales Manager Salary: £47,400
OTE: £75,000 – £90,000
Location: Manchester City Centre (Office-Based)
Hours: 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday
This role is designed for a commercially sharp, data-led sales leader who combines:
You will directly lead a team of Sales Managers, holding them to account for performance while developing their capability to lead their own teams effectively. This is a role for someone who is comfortable operating one level removed from the front line, influencing through others at scale.
Data-Driven Performance Management
Own and drive all core sales KPIs across the function. You will use data as your primary decision-making tool—identifying performance gaps, forecasting risks, and implementing targeted interventions to ensure consistent delivery against targets.
Coaching & Capability Building
Act as a coach of Sales Managers, embedding high-performance habits, structured coaching frameworks, and a culture of continuous improvement across the wider sales organisation.
Balanced Hands-On Leadership
While this is not a frontline selling role, you will be close enough to the numbers and activity to step in when required, ensuring standards remain consistently high across the operation.
Culture & Accountability
Build a high-accountability, high-support environment where performance is expected, measured, and continuously improved—without losing sight of engagement and team culture.
Customer & Commercial Focus
Ensure all activity remains commercially sound and customer-focused, balancing short-term performance with long-term value creation.
