We are delighted to be working with a nationwide charitable organisation with the appointment of a Learning and Development Co-ordinator to join their contact centre in West Essex. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract starting as soon as possible. The office is easily commutable from Essex, Hertfordshire, and parts of North London with free parking on site and a generous benefits package.
The successful Learning and Development Co-ordinator will engage with trainers, coaches and colleagues to ensure the smooth delivery of training within the Charitable Operation. You will be responsible for coordinating training events, maintaining learning materials and evaluate reports and attendance records. This exciting role would suit someone who is highly organised and has worked in roles such as Project Coordinator, Training Administrator or PA/Executive Assistant.
Key Competencies:
  • Training – support the Learning and Development team to ensure all learning material is successful delivered; maintain all documentation; set up new starts within the operation with appropriate system logins; act as a first point of contact on Learning and Development projects/training; send instructions, keep records, log and training calendar up to date; review all stages of training evaluation; assist in ensuring materials are produced and the team are scheduled in correctly.
  • Communication – support the Learning and Development department during peak periods; provide monthly reports to measure the quality of staff and effectiveness of the Team responsible for driving quality standards; confident communicator able to deal comfortably and credibly with individual on various levels.
  • Evolve – use various methods and technology to gather feedback; ensure that we are at the forefront of best practice and benchmark performance against comparable organisations; be a role model of values and behaviours.
  • Customer Focus – be a strong customer voice, demonstrating a clear commitment for high quality customer service; be an ambassador for doing what is right for the customer; demonstrate a positive mindset and encourage staff to focus on what you can do for the customer.
  • Planning and Organisation – strong organiser with excellent planning skills; able to prioritise and manage complex workloads; be able to cope in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change; analyse and interpret data to identify trends.
  • Continuous Improvement – use data and feedback to refine and improve the Learning and Development operation; demonstrate a desire to develop your own skills and experience.
Technical Skills/Knowledge:
  • Database administration and reports generation experience.
  • IT literate with a strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong team orientated approached.
  • Experience within a coordinating role.
  • Knowledge of the learning cycle.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable customer groups.
