I am delighted to be working with a fantastic client who are looking to recruit 8 Customer Service Advisors as part of a project where they build a brand-new team to deliver world-class service to vulnerable customers, predominantly by telephone. This new team will grow significantly over the next 12-24 month, making it crucial that we recruit the best candidates possible to help shape and grow this team in the most positive and proactive way.

Working within a fast-paced environment dealing with a wide range of enquiries, you'll be responsible for answering and resolving multi-channel contact and taking ownership for delivering a high-quality service to our clients’ vulnerable customers.

Must Haves
  1. Evidence of being a clear communicator; sometimes having to discuss complicated matters with customers in a clear and concise manner.
  2. Computer literate; you'll have to be able to use multiple system and follow processes with ease.
  3. Evidence of being the best you can be; you'll need to be able to demonstrate how you've developed and pushed yourself in your career so far. We're not looking for settlers or a 'safe pair of hands', we're looking for people who've progressed and challenges themselves to constantly improve what they do and how they do it. 

Personal Attributes (what's going to be a good fit for our client)

  1. Personal resilience; we want someone that can get the job done even during the tough times and isn’t daunted by being busy as this team will be incredibly fast paced and busy throughout the year.
  2. Empathy; given that you're dealing with vulnerable customers, it's imperative that you treat each caller as an individual and take the time to understand them. Each customer is not 'just another call stat'.
  3. Independent thinker; we want someone who is happy to have their own views, and not just a sheep who will follow the crowd.

Whilst on a flexible working contract in terms of working from home, for the first six months of training and onboarding this role will be based at our clients office in Essex; once settled and probation has been completed, you will be given will be given flexibility to work from home should you wish to.

My client offers free parking on-site for all staff, and there is excellent public transport in and around the office location.
